The Embroidery and Screen Printing Arts
The main methods for cloth printing are embroidery and screen printing. Their use is in the printing of logos and to clothing. What is used in clothes is embroidery. In the printing of business shirts, polo shirts, hospitality uniforms and aprons is where they are used. In the printing of industrial workwear, bags and towels to it has been used.
Various artwork requirements are used by embroidery. Including the adobe illustrator various tools have been used. Provision of different fonts has been used then converting them to curves and other outlines. Embroidery also uses others tools such as bitmaps. At minimum the actual size of the finished logo’s resolution should be 300dpi. Additional charges are provided where the client does not provide artwork.
Screen printing, on the other hand, involves a great process for large order printing of t-shirts. One color art a time is applied in screen printing. Each additional color added, therefore, means additional cost. An art is screen printing. Cracking should not be found be quality screen printing. Overlapping of colors should also not be there. The design, therefore, is supposed to be straight and thick enough. At no point does the ink dry out. There is, however, a plasticizer that binds each other creating a hardened compound.
Stitching threads reproduce the logo then working out with embroidery. The making of the stitching threads is directly into the fabric. A computerized machine that is fully automatic handles the stitching process. Your logos are made by squeezing of inks through mesh screens in screen printing. Directly into your garments it is squeezed. Offering of a separate mesh is done for each of the mesh. The screen printing process is highly automated. Individually the garments are loaded and are unloaded by the operator.
Embroidery has been used as the best choice for the business shirts as well as polo shirts. More prestigious is what it been perceived to be. Printing of caps and other outwears has seen it being considered the best choice. Best solution in other cases can be offered by screen printing. Printing a logo at the back of the t-shirt is also included. Also preferring to use screen printing are the lightweight clothing and t-shirts.
The two modes also differ a lot in their cost. The basis setup cost is a flat fee for the embroider logos. It doesn’t vary irrespective of the number of colors. Taking many stitches in its creation are the large logos. More printing time is consumed and also more thread is used in its printing. What this means is that it is expensive more than others. Through these however great decorations of fabrics can be made. The stitching techniques is however unique.
They have been worked independently and this allows any design which is realist and abstract. Incorporation of pearls and beards can be done by other materials.
