Team Spotlight: Senior Designer Bruce Lee

We’re just going to come right out and say it… The Bruce Lee of Product Design has joined the TriMech team! Known for his wealth of experience and ability to create intricate designs in just hours, he’s known as a Product Design OG.

School:

Bruce comes from an incredibly creative background bringing a wealth of knowledge to the team. First studying at the College for Creative Studies, he specialized in automotive design. It is this foundation that has allowed him to later excel at Peterbilt Motors for over 5 years. After College, Bruce continued to Auburn University, where he majored in Industrial Design, a foundation that would prepare him for the rest of his days at several prestigious Product Design companies.

“I’m lucky to say that I’ve had several moments throughout my career that really stand out for me,” says Bruce Lee. “The first was the moment I met the inventor of the Gran Turismo, Kazunori Yamauchi. But what I love most about it all is learning something new every single day and being able to make someone’s dreams a reality.”

Being the OG of the ID industry, Bruce has many, many strengths, but most notably, he has advanced visualization and CAD modelling skills. Creating digital renderings for over 25 years for a variety of products has allowed him to fine-tune and perfect these skills to a MAKO standard degree of mastery.

In his spare time, Bruce is a movie buff. But not your average movie buff. Bruce studies the product designs from movies and recreates them. Check out this 1:1 replica of the Arc of the Covenant from Indiana Jones that he built with a few teammates. WOW!
