About 3DPPEGTHA
3DPPEGTHA is a collective made up of medical students, and other health professional students who are collaborating cross Toronto institutions such as the University of Toronto and McMaster University to mobilize 3D printers to product protective personal equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers across Toronto and the Hamilton area (GTHA). The student initiatives are looking for companies and communities who have access to 3D printers and other equipment that can help contribute to this effort and work together to crowdsource the right materials needed in order to help produce, sterilize and drop off the equipment to hospitals and clinics that need the support. They are using a 3Dverkstan design that is recommended for use by the US Department of Health and Human Services and is tested and approved by staff all over the world, ensuring that the initiatives and efforts taken by this noble group are effectively keeping their healthcare workers 100% safe. Teaming up with a Toronto industrial design company such as Mako Design is perfect for helping 3DPPEGTHA reach their goals since Mako Design is passionate both in using 3D printing technology for design and helping out the GTA community!

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the team at Mako Design clearly set their intentions on making sure that we can help out our communities as much as possible to keep everyone safe and healthy. The initiatives made by 3DPPEGTHA were a perfect match as their goals aligned with what a Toronto industrial design company such as Mako loves to do when giving back to society; using innovation and design to help others. 3D printing is a great technology that has not only worked out immensely in progressing product design but helping to make and create the best parts and pieces of equipment needed, in a fast and efficient way, to help those who need it as quickly as possible. As a Toronto industrial design company, we were excited to partner up with 3DPPEGTHA as soon as possible and offer our 3D printing services, design services and offer as many materials as possible to help them with their efforts and make sure that the equipment needed across medical centers and health care workers across Toronto are being delivered.
In addition to our partnership with 3DPPEGTHA, Mako Design is taking a lot of different initiatives as a Toronto industrial design company to help out our communities across North America. We are extending our services to bring free parts to health care and hospital workers through our 3D printing and design technology and offering grants for health and wellness inventions!
