Industrial Design Spotlight: The Paperpot Transplanter

This Japanese invention is innovating the way farmers farm by letting one person do in minutes what ordinarily takes an hour with their Paperpot Transplanter, the latest in industrial design and engineering.

How it Works

The Paperpot Transplanter allows for one person to transplant 264 plants covering over 85 feet in just minutes, this allows for farmers to cut down on the time it takes to do a job that would normally takes hours.

This brilliant innovation in industrial design and engineering allows farmers to spend less time on transplanting crops and more time doing other things that are important to farming, like improvements, marketing, sales, etc.

Other Benefits of This Industrial Design and Engineering Innovation

What else is great about this invention is that it eliminates spending hours bending over to transplant plants. Bending over for hours on end on a farm can put a lot of wear and tear on your body, the Paperpot Transplanter helps solve this issue.

On top of eliminating the stress farming can put on your body, the Paperpot Transplanter also can be used on a variety of different types of crops from salad greens to onions. The trays can be used for microgreen production too, giving farmers a sturdier and long lasting tray versus the usual flimsy nursery flats.

Lastly, this device allows farmers to get transplants into the ground and watered faster, which cuts down on the heat stress and transplant shock that normally happens. This means that farmers are less likely to lose crops by using this device!

What is incredibly cool about the Paperpot Transplanter is how Japanese inventors have revolutionized the industrial design and engineering of a typical transplanter, changing the way farmers farm!
