About Clasp Magic

The inventor of Clasp Magic, Alison Brett, came up with the genius invention idea for Clasp Magic after struggling throughout trying to put on her own bracelets. Amid her struggles, she realized that this may be a problem that she cannot be experiencing on her own. Alison saw a vision that she would come up with a solution that would solve this problem.

Alison knew that starting a new small business and inventing wouldn’t be easy – especially when trying to raise a whole family! But with her determination and strong, clear vision for the concept of Clasp Magic, Alison reached out to TriMech Design Solutions (formerly MAKO) to help build her successful product and start her small business journey!

At TriMech Design Solutions (formerly MAKO), the team was excited to hear about Alison’s invention idea and thought it was quite brilliant. We immediately sought to help and began developing the product. The team helped conceptualize and prototype the design for Clasp Magic, working alongside Alison to make sure the invention was just as she envisioned it.

With the success of her Kickstarter campaign, Alison proved that Clasp Magic was a product that people wanted to see to help them solve their similar jewelry frustrations and that the idea would become a successful product within the market. After her Kickstarter campaign reached its goal, Alison’s dream product was fully developed and came to life, starting the beginning of her small business journey!

Words from the Inventor of Clasp Magic – Alison Brett

“My name is Alison Brett, the inventor of Clasp Magic. Like many before me, I did not want to wake up one day and not have designed, built, and manufactured my idea. It has taken five years to bring my first round of products into the world.

At that time, Clasp Magic was designed, prototyped, patented, and manufactured while I raised four young children to school age.

There has been nothing easy about my journey. There have been many bumps and setbacks. However, these hiccups had a way of making both myself and my invention stronger.

I am so proud of how far I have come and thankful for all the support I have received to get here. I want to encourage all inventors and entrepreneurs to ‘Go for Your Dreams!’”
