MAKO Wins the Canadian Business Excellence Award
Another huge win for our team at MAKO Design! At the fifth annual Canadian Business Excellence Awards for Private Businesses, Canadian industrial design firm, MAKO Design, along with 25 other organizations will receive the Canadian Businesses Excellence Awards. Each organization clearly demonstrated a strategic approach to successfully improving business performance and achieving goals. Excellence Canada focused on the following three key performance areas. Delighted customers, engaged employees, and innovation.
Simply put, we aim to go above and beyond in everything we do. It’s why we’re so proud to have received our very first Canadian Business Excellence Award.
“It goes without saying that this pandemic has resulted in a complete shift in workplaces norms and needs. While we can’t control the coronavirus, what we can control is how we treat our employees, clients, and our communities throughout this pandemic,” says Kevin Mako, President and Founder of the Canadian industrial design firm MAKO Design.
One of the things we take pride in is flexibility for our employees. Whether it’s your kids, regular appointments, or anything in between, MAKO Design fits employee’s schedules around employee’s needs. We were named one of Canada’s best workplaces by Great Place to work for the last two years. In fact, our industrial design firm was in the top 50 in Canada this year!
When it comes to our clients, we’re always ready to point them in the right direction. Because MAKO Design is in the business of making our client’s product or business successful. We offer tons of free materials for aspiring inventors including our Inventor’s Manual, our Product Startup Podcast, and of course, our blogs!
